Bakugaiden IV[]

Personality[]

Shiro recovering

Shirobon being restored with energy in a healing capsule.

Legendary Edition (Planet Emblem Edition)[]

Shirobon was originally a prince of the B-Da Kingdom, He is the son of King Goldenbon, and is an energetic and good-natured man. His father, who has become the Emperor Darkbon, pressures him to help conquer the solar system, but he refuses.

He decides to fight as a member of the rebel army. He has Earth's Planet Emblem on his B-Da Armor. His aircraft is the Gaia Bomber Fighter.

After the final phase, he succeeded Goldenbon and ruled the B-Da Kingdom with the support of his friends as a good king.

In the manga version, he was Dr. Gureibon's assistant and called Goldenbon "Kin-chan". He is a gourmand and likes takoyaki (octopus balls).

B-Da City (Bakugaiden IV) Edition[]

Shirobon was the main protagonist of this work, The first person in this work is "I (ore)". He was portrayed that he has a strong sense of courage, justice and values friendship with his friends, but he's also a bit of a natural blabbermouth, rather naive and a bit childish at times. He flies by catching his buddy Kazemaru with a cake (which for some reason also tastes very hot) and he seems to have a love for sweets, especially cake.

His dream is to become an aeroplane pilot, by being capable of flying through the air on his own, but until then, he uses the B-Da Armors he is given, all of which are capable of flying, by his request.

According to Momitebon's notes, he hates green peppers. At first, he sees Kurobon as a rival, but he's later attracted to him, who is somewhat of a loner and they eventually come to accept each other.

When he is defeated in his first battle against Draken, he almost loses his own confidence. However, after seeing the struggles of Kurobon and Kiirobon, he was inspired to go back to the front and get his revenge. He often fights with his friends over trivial matters, but eventually they reconcile and deepen their friendship, and he uses this as a weapon in his fight.

B-Daron[]

Shirobon's B-Daron is a turquoise bird named Kazemaru. Like Shirobon, Kazemaru seems to be fond of cake, and they often get into fights over cake. But in the end, they are really good friends. He is summoned by Shirobon's whistling call, or a box of cake. When he is summoned, Shirobon usually hangs on to his foot while he's flying, whenever they need to go somewhere, or just for fun.

B-Da Armor[]

White Gale[]

White gale I

White Gale I. Shirobon's First generational b-da suit.

The first B-Da Armor to be developed by the genius professor, Dr. Gray Bomber. It's also the first armor with superior rapid-fire capabilities. The main gun is the "B-Da Cannon". It is the only one of the early armors that can fly like Shirobon always wanted to, and can transform into flight mode, it's also a Balanced D-Da Armor, in episode 11, it was defeated by a metal B-Dama fired by Draken's Steel Blue Dragon and was destroyed, while Shirobon was seriously injured.

In the manga version, Shirobon was not originally designed for battle, but he was able to transform into armor mode in response to the power of Shirobon 's mail suit. His special moves include the "Volkenik Tempest", in which he fires a bird-shaped B-Dama, and the "Cross Counter Shot", in which he fires a B-Dama while dodging an opponent's B-Dama. It can also be piloted by non-pilots, and has been used by Aobon to chase after Louie, who was kidnapped by the Dark Kizak gang, and delivered the White Gale to Shirobon as he fights Draken.

In the manga version, Shirobon's favorite machines all have twin cameras on their heads with eyes that change according to Shirobon's emotions.

The coloring and style are inspired by the Demon God of Wind from Bakugaiden II.

White Gale II[]

The second generation of Shirobon's armor, first appeared in episode 12, after the White Gale was destroyed by Draken's Metal Gun Dragon, Professor Gray Bomber hurriedly repairs the White Gale but using its own technology to power up the B-Dama shots, allowing Shirobon to even the odds and it's also a repaired and strengthened version of White Gale, which was destroyed in the battle against Draken's Steel Blue Dragon. Its aerial combat ability and attack power have been strengthened. The main gun is the "Metal B-Da Cannon", which can fire Metal B-Dama in succession thanks to the analysis of the Steel Soryu. The power of the cannon is such that it can hit and destroy the chest of the Soryu in a single blow. The transformation mechanism to flight mode has also been inherited from White Gale.

The number of times its deployed is small, totaling three times in episodes 12, 17 and 20. At the end, when Shirobon tried to push back with the thrust of their flight with the B-Da Express in which Aobon and the others were trapped at the time, they are unable to do so and it simply crashed into a cliff with the B-Da Express, wrecking it.

In the manga version, he can also use the "B-Da Bakudan (Bomb) Punch", which is a powerful punch with his fist that concentrates B-Da Energy to pierce his opponent, and the "Ride Mode Super Dash", which allows him to run at high speed in Ride Mode. He was victorious in the battle against Tsubasa Suzaku, but was badly damaged, and was later repaired and strengthened into White Blows.

In the main story, his coloring is white and blue, but in the toy version, the blue parts are light blue.

In the toy version, the wing on the back is fixed in rapid-fire mode, and the mechanism of the Metal B-Da Cannon is slightly different from the anime version.

White Blows[]

This was Shirobon's third and final armor, and one of the B-Da Armors developed by Dr. Gureibon that was based on the blueprints of Dr. Professorbon, since Tigel's final attempt to destroy Shirobon and his friends, results in the destruction of all of the first generation B-Da Armors, Dr. Gureibon thus creates the White Blows, a stronger B-Da Armor with multiple launching capabilities.

It first appeared in episode 21. It has a more massive appearance than the White Gale II, and its helmet has a dragon design. The overall performance of the armor has been increased even more than the White Gale II, and it is strong enough to withstand a direct hit from Tsubasa Suzaku's Hexa Metal Shot. The main gun is the Blows Cannon, which can fire high-density B-Dama that surpasses Metal B-Dama, thanks to the B-Da multiplier.

In the toy version, "WHITE GALE 3" is written on the sticker of the helmet part, which was the name's misprinted as it was supposed to be "WHITE BLOWS".

Saint Blaster[]

Saint blaster

The combined form Saint Blaster

A combined machine with White Blows as its upper body and Blue Braver and Yellow Crusher as its legs. It is capable of simultaneously firing B-Damas from its abdomen and both legs. The name of its technique is 'Blaster Cannon'. It has the speed and power of the Blizzard Evil, the combined armor of Gin Ebisuru and Kurayami.

The combination is a high hurdle, as the combination cannot succeed unless all three pilots press the switch for the combination command at exactly the same time (in the manga version, the front panel of the cockpit glows when all the pilots feel united, and only then can the combination take place), and in the practice conducted by Dr. Gureibon, it has never been successful.

However, when they tried to save Akabon, who had been taken hostage by Dr. Shadow in order to lure Kurobon, they became in sync with each other and cleared the hurdle with flying colors.

The control system for the merging is not explained in the show, but in episode 46 it is described that Kiirobon (and Aobon) may be in charge of the leg controls. If the combined unit is damaged to the extent that it is dismantled, it appears that priority is given to restoring it to its individual bodies.

The style is inspired by the Demon God of Flame from Bakugaiden II.

Saint Dragon[]

A giant dragon-shaped Vida Armor in which the White Blows are combined as the neck to head, the Black Devastator as the torso, and the Blue Braver and Yellow Crusher as the legs, respectively. It appears only in the final episode and is the final form of B-Da Armor in this show.

As the combined form requires Planet Energy, a Planet Energy control device was equipped on all the crew's armors, but as no device could be found to take it off the planet, they were initially unable to merge. A distinctive feature of this model is that the cockpit parts of all crew members are visible from the outside. Its special move is the 'Saint Fire Volley', in which it fires B-Damas from all projectiles at once.

In the manga version, the light energy released during the merger frees the Blizzard Dragon from the Dark Emperor's control. Although they struggle against the Dark Emperor's onslaught, they and the Blizzard Dragon recover from the damage, clad in a healing light transformed by the true B-Da Energy released from the life forms in B-Da City, including Akabon, who support Shirobon, his friends et al. The light was released to annihilate Dark Castle.

Border Kingdom (Bakugaiden V)[]

Shirobon was the main protagonist, known to be a member of B-Da Cops, which travels through time and space to solve crimes. His basic personality is somewhat the same as in the previous show, like how he was energetic and good-natured, because of this, he sometimes looks down on Kiirobon and the Devil Three Musketeers, but he also has a serious side that is aware of his responsibility as a B-Da Cop and a police officer.

Like the B-Da City version, he is also a friend to his friends, and even goes out of his way to help when Akabon and his friends are captured by the Devil Three Musketeers, when Kurobon was captured by Slinger, and when Cryst Blacker was almost destroyed by the Devil Trident after being pinned down by King Vader's attack, he goes to their aid without regard for his own safety. He is also an avid athletic sportsman, showing off his windsurfing skills in the show.

He is still a bit of a novice as a B-Da Cop and often makes mistakes. Even though Dr. Gureibon stopped him from shooting energy bullets with the Sieg Whiter, he used it in the battle against the Devil Vader, wrecking his armor and getting a big eyeful from Dr. Gureibon; he let the Calibur Core's prototype combination test device operate on its own, causing the five recovered Crismonds to fly apart again, and being told by Kurobon that he is completely useless; he let the momentum of attaching the wavelets to the Cryst Whiter cause it to fall to the ground with no sea water, and so on...

However, he was appreciated by B-Da Master as "a uniquely good boy with sincerity and courage" and "a strong will to face any challenge"; but on the other hand, he has also been harshly criticized as being "especially flawed (including the above) more than Aobon, Midoribon, and Kurobon" (Kiirobon says, "I don't care because I'm too stupid to understand my own flaws."); which changes Kurobon's loner temperament.

In the manga version, he and Aobon are treated as apprentices within B-Da Cop, and their good-natured side is even more noticeable than in the anime series.

V B-Da Armor[]

Sieg Whiter[]

Shirobon's first generation V B-Da Armor. Transformed from land-hover type ride mode. At first he uses a normal B-Da Unit, but from episode 3 he uses a Super B-Da Unit for rapid-fire shooting with the second Crystmond that Akabon had. In episode 19, when in a pinch, he is able to fire a 'Red B-Da Shoot' (called an energy projectile in the show, which later becomes a Laser B-Da Shoot), but the recoil of the projectile is too much for the aircraft to withstand and it was destroyed in episode 20.

Laser Whiter[]

Shirobon's second generation V B-Da Armor, an improved and enhanced version of the Sieg Whiter prototype to withstand the firing of energy projectiles. Its output and performance are superior to Sieg Whiter's, but it is incomparably more difficult to control and will not even activate unless Shirobon's emotions are aroused. Instead of a B-Dama, it is equipped with a 'Laser B-Dama Unit' that fires energy projectiles that turn into red lasers. Its special move is the Laser B-Dama Shoot, which shoots lasers from the Laser B-Dama Unit.

In episode 24, it was pushed back in combat by a Laser B-Da Shoot with a mirror, but was secretly recovered back in episode 33, despite the fact that it was difficult even for its owner, Shirobon, to handle, Gureibon modified it so that he could also ride it, but he did not master its use. In addition, it was the only sortie of old and new B-Da Armor in the series.

The toy was a pre-assembled product equipped with a unit that could fire infrared lasers, and was released as a set with a target, the Black Blister. Note that the Laser B-Da Unit can be removed, but the head parts cannot be detached.

The livery and design is inspired by the White Gale from the B-Da City version.

Cryst Whiter[]

First appeared in episode 24. Shirobon's third V B-Da Armor, powered up by the ninth Crystmond, and the successor to the Sieg Whiter, an attack-oriented armor. Like the other two machines, it transforms from Landhover-type ride mode. It is equipped with the Hyper B-Da Unit, which can fire energy-amplified B-Damas contained in shell-casing-shaped capsules. Its special move is the Hyper B-Da Shoot, a powerful shot from the Hyper B-Da Unit. When it does so, a capsule in the form of a shell casing flies backwards. It also has the Final B-Da Shoot, a combined move that it unleashes together with Cryst Blued, Cargo Yeigar, Cryst Greaver and the Mysterious Armor with the power of Crystmond.

In the manga version, Sieg Whiter, which was wrecked in a battle with Devil Poseidon, evolved by receiving the power of the ninth Crystmond.

"Shiromidoc"[]

Appeared in episode 25. A figure in which Cryst Whiter, Grand Greaver and Devil Hornet have combined by chance with the power of a treasure ball called the Sticky Ball. It has the appearance of Cryst Whiter's lower body with Grand Greaver in ride mode form, Devil Hornet's Thunder Scan Unit on its right arm and Devil Blister's Fire Scan Unit on its left arm. The nomenclature is Kiirobon, an alliteration of the initials of the pilots of each armor (Shirobon, Midoribon and Docdandy). In the end, the combined armor was forcibly released and returned to normal when Knight Blacker, who came to the rescue, shot a super metal shot into Cryst Whiter's B-Dama launch port.

The toy could also be reproduced by using the special connecting parts included in the Chris Whiter kit.

B-Da Calibur[]

Originally, the name B-Da Calibur was the name of the legendary sword in which the Crystmonds were housed. However, when the Devil Trident attack put Shirobon and his friends in danger, all the Crystmonds lit up and combined into the Whiter-Blued-Greaver-Blacker. The huge B-Da Armor was named B-Da Calibur after the legendary sword.

The B-Da Calibur is a powerful force, but it can only be manifested with the united will of Shirobon and the other four. For this reason, it was not easy for them to show their power at first. His special move is the Hyper Blowback Shot. In the final battle, he attached all B-Da Units and entered 'Perfect Mode' (see below), cutting King Vader in half and burying him. And the Border King, who disappeared into space-time with the Crystmond, is found in an unexpected location at the end of the show.

Twelve B-Da Units (these are the 12 Super B-Da, Gatling, Triple Burst, Super Metal, Double Metal, Hyper B-Da, Homing, Super Double Metal, Blowback, plus Devil Armor's Fire Scan, Thunder Scan and Blizzard Scan (these are the 12-- the "Perfect Mode" is equipped with the 12 Crystmond Units (these are variations of the 12 Crystmond Units). This could also be reproduced in toys.
